Why are we creating this Trilogy?
Honestly ... because I feel that Our Lady has tasked us with this!
In 1917 the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in Fatima, Portugal and asked us all to pray the rosary everyday for world peace. She also prophesied the 2nd world war, as well as the rise of communism, and the persecution of the Holy Catholic Church. But in the end, she said her Immaculate Heart would triumph, and that there would come to the world an era of peace.
Now I know that this may sound crazy... but I feel that our Lady has tasked us with writing a soundtrack for the triumph of her Immaculate Heart, and specifically, her plan for America, of whom she is the patroness of. In this time period, in the history of the world, I feel that America has a special role in fulfilling God's plan through Our Lady. But, in order for Our Lady's triumph to occur in America, we must first undergo a purification, and all purification requires suffering and sacrifice.
American Vespers is the story of that purification, suffering, and sacrifice, which leads to conversion, and will usher in Our Lady's era of peace.
American Vespers
The American Vespers trilogy will be a 3 Volume set. Each Volume will be thematically based on different periods of our Lady's triumph. Volume I, which has already been recorded, is a snapshot of where we have been as a country. It takes classic American Catholic/Christian hymns and sets them to a punk rock soundtrack. It is a joyful rendition of hymns set in the backdrop of a country that has strayed from God.
Volume II will pick up where Volume I left off, and will be more of a reflection on what America was. It will dive into the sin and division that our country finds itself in right now, and reflect on the grave ramifications of a country, that in many ways has turned it's back on God.
Lastly, Volume III will conclude with The purification of America, and the triumph of Our Lady's Immaculate Heart.
Through each of the Volumes, 2 characters will also be highlighted. A priest, and a lay man, who will be faced with challenging choices in order to remain faithful to Our Lady's triumph and her plan for peace.
